Testimonials

Lee Baldwin

Precinct Chair 1079

"I heartily endorse Susan Fountain for SREC Committeewoman for the 16th. Although I am no longer in the 16th, I used to be and I believe the 16th is blessed to have her. She is a hard worker, loyal, and knowledgeable--a GREAT combination!! We need more like her throughout the Republican Party. I urge you to vote for Susan at the upcoming Republican Convention!"

Bill Anderton

Precinct Chair 2023

"Simply put, Susan is the hardest-working person in politics. We have worked together daily for the last two years for the betterment of SD-16, the DCRP and the conservative cause in general. Susan was my SREC Chairwoman until I was redistricted out of SD-16 this year. She was of immense help to me when I got started as a Precinct Chair in 2020. It was my honor to vote for her as the SD-16 Committeewoman two years ago and would gladly do so again if I was still in the district."

Nancy Anderton

Presiding Election Judge

"I first met Susan on the phone when she was looking for a place to hold the Republican SD-16 convention in the early summer of 2020 and was interested in using my meeting facility. She was very organized and personable. She was also very driven. As we talked I was very impressed with the woman asking to use my facility during the height of the COVID lockdowns. When I let her know that it was decided by my organization that my facility could not host any events during the lockdown, she was very gracious and kind. Much more recently, I have worked with her for scheduling Election Judges for the last three elections. She always exhibits the qualities of a great leader of people while maintaining kindness and grace. I wholeheartedly endorse Susan for SREC SD-16 Committeewoman."

Jim Pikl

SREC SD-8 Committeeman

"Susan is the real deal. A committed Conservative with a true heart for service. She is a valuable part of the SREC and the Republican Party, and she has my unqualified endorsement for re-election in this super important two-year cycle. Please support her."

Jill Glover

SREC SD-12 Committeewoman
Chair, Legislative Priorities Committee

I am endorsing Susan Fountain, SD -16, for re-election to the State Republican Executive Committee.  I have known and worked with Susan since 2018, and she is one of our strongest conservatives on the SREC.  She defends our principles and platform, while also promoting the party and engaging new voters.  Susan helped raise awareness of our Republican Party of Texas Legislative Priorities and especially worked on addressing Election Integrity. She was asked to chair the Party Organization committee by former RPT chairman Allen West and has worked diligently on ways to grow our party in Texas. Susan serves on the Officials Committee of the SREC, where her accounting and financial skills are an asset to the party.  Locally, Susan has tirelessly sought to grow the Dallas County Republican Party, a difficult task in a Democrat-controlled urban area. She has raised money and supported candidates to run for office, and regularly communicates with her constituents.  SD-16 is well-served by Susan, and I encourage her delegates in Dallas County to send her back to the SREC!

Tillie Perkins

Precinct Chair 3310, President of Red Texas Forum, Delegate SD-16

Susan Fountain is and has been a dependable, humble advocate and volunteer for the conservative values in Dallas County for many years. She also has been a loyal conservative to the platform of the Texas Republican Party.  This is extremely important in this day of inside and outside sources wishing to change the basic fundamental values of conservatism.

As Senate District 16 SREC committee member for four years, Susan has been faithful in attendance as well as served on committees. One of the committees is the Officials Committee, the purpose of which is to advise the Chairman of party matters in between the quarterly meetings.  It is a coveted committee.  Susan was asked by Chairman Allen West to be on that committee and continues to serve under Chairman Matt Rinaldi.  She is also Chair of the Party Organization Committee of SREC. She was instrumental in designating $100,000 of party funds devoted to having a website set up in every one of the 254 Counties in Texas to get critical information to and from Republican Party County Chairs.  She also collaborates with other Dallas County SRECs on many issues.

Susan is also now Executive Director of the Dallas County Republican Party. Her SREC impact has now quadrupled!  We as members of the Dallas County Republican Party welcome new precinct chairs, volunteers and advocates, but they should first support leadership and learn the history before advocating or criticizing decisions.

It is unwise to put trust in anyone who has not been involved in the historical periods of the Dallas County Republican Party.  If you do not know history, you should not criticize the present-day leadership.  With the immediate past leadership, there was NO structure in the organization at all. That has been resolved and our party is moving forward.

If one seeks an office, research the position, personally attend the meetings for an extended period of time and be open to questions, statements and opinions.

Finally, Susan Fountain is respected by other SREC members as well as the Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, Matt Rinaldi.

Please vote for Susan Fountain SREC SD16 when you attend the convention in Houston.

Susan Fischer

Former SREC SD-8 Committeewoman,  Former DCCRW & RRW President
SD-16 Delegate

Please join me in voting for Susan Fountain to continue to represent us as our Senate District 16 SREC member.

I have known Susan for several years and have seen up close and personal her dedication to our conservative principles. She has worked day and night to educate the folks in Dallas County of the dangers of not electing Republicans to public offices. She is indeed the leadership storm we must have more than ever. We need Susan's experience on the SREC to make Texas even more conservative and to turn the corner for a red wave in Dallas County. During her first term on SREC she jumped in with both feet and has been invaluable in representing us on the SREC. She is Chair of the Party Organization Committee, a member of the Legislative Priorities Election Integrity Sub-Committee, as well as a member of the Officials Committee this term, which is the executive committee that does the work of the RPT when we are not convened for business at the quarterly meetings.

Thank you, Susan, for all you have done for all Texas Republicans (especially in Dallas County) and I look forward to supporting you in June at the Republican State Convention.

See y'all in Houston.

Terri Gottleaber

IT Volunteer at DCRP since 2018

What makes Susan Fountain a great leader for the Republican party?  Susan makes hard choices every day that require self-sacrifice; compromise; patriotism; strength, and fearlessness so that the party will succeed. Susan is passionate about her work. Good leaders love what they do, and they’re not afraid to show it. That’s Susan. There is NO ONE more deserving than Susan Fountain to be the SREC SD-16 Committeewoman. Thank you, Susan, for your continued devotion to the GOP party.

Rich Resser

Precinct Chair 1740

I am a Dallas County Precinct chair for Precinct 1740 since 2019. My PC application was ‘lost’ twice until I reached out to Susan as my SREC and she helped me through the process to finally accomplish becoming a precinct chair.  I had no idea how to be a good precinct chair. Susan Fountain did not hesitate to jump in and work with me. She explained the difference in being a good Precinct Chair and a Great precinct chair. Not only did she take time out of her day to explain things to me she came to my precinct and block walked with me for a couple of hours, helping me receive data credentials and tools I needed to be successful. She did all this before she was elected as the Executive Director for our Dallas County Republican Party.  She has been building the grassroots, boots on the ground even before becoming our SREC Committeewoman for SD-16.  She has mentored many and encouraged all.

This she did on her own time; she did not get paid nor did she ever ask for anything except that I fulfill the position with hard work, determination and pride.   This was only the beginning of what I have seen her do to help others, not only precinct chairs but throughout the County and State Party, she will jump in and roll up her sleeves to get done what needs to get done.

Susan is not only a great leader but has been for many years someone we all can be proud of in calling her one of our team members. She encourages many and includes everyone to become involved.  She works many hours on tasks that need to be done no matter how many hours a week she needs to work.  Her keen awareness of recognizing and resolving problems is an enormous skill that benefits not only SD-16 but our entire Dallas County Republican Party.

I am proud to be a Co-Party Person with her and know she is doing such an excellent job working tirelessly to get our entire DCRP structure in place to be prepared for the November midterm election. She is working tirelessly towards turning our county RED again. I wholeheartedly encourage all SD-16 delegates to re-elect Susan to continue her leadership role and direction.

Brian Bodine

SD-16 Convention Chair & Delegate; Precinct Chair 2102

Susan Fountain has worked tirelessly since I have known her to support and assist the grassroots and help Republicans get elected. She has always looked for ways to improve the Party’s functioning and operations locally, and she brings significant knowledge to the table about local and state government issues, especially with respect to election integrity. When it comes to supporting and defending the top priorities of the grassroots conservatives, Susan is a fighter, plain and simple.

I have known few people that have given their time and opportunity cost as much as Susan in my time, and she is the best possible representative that Senate District 16 could have on the SREC.

Mac Smith

Precinct Chair 2006

To Fellow delegates to the State Convention:

I am writing to endorse Susan Fountain's re-election for SREC for SD16. Susan has ably served as Senate District 16 SREC for four years. She's attended every quarterly (16) SREC meeting, traveling to Austin, Laredo, Lubbock and Tyler without remuneration or reimbursement for her expenses over her 4-year tenure.  She has been serving for the Cause on the Legislative Priorities committee, chairing the Abolish Abortion sub-committee, and researching bills presented to the 86th and 87th Legislative Sessions on the Election Integrity Sub-Committee.  She has called out our Dallas County Legislators who did not co-author our HB 6 Election Integrity Bill, resulting in their eventual co-author after the scorching of their office telephones.  She currently serves on the Officials Committee, appointed by Chairman Allen West  (now serving under Chairman Matt Rinaldi) to guide party decisions between quarterly SREC meetings. brought in dozens of new precinct chairs and has brought new life into the party. She has also served as Chair of the Party Organization Committee for two years and
a member for four years.

She has worked tirelessly to bring structure to Dallas County Republican Party when the DCRP Leadership refused to implement such structure itself. She was on a personal mission to recruit precinct chairs and local candidates for City Council and school boards.  She has encouraged the establishment of the Precinct Chair Resource Committee to provide training, data, and tools to increase the grassroots base in Dallas County.  I know this because I have worked with her for years and currently serve with her on the precinct chair vacancy committee. I have always relied on her for help to get things done within the Dallas County Republican Party.

She is also currently serving as the Executive Director of the Dallas County Republican Party and is now able to implement this structure into the Party. Susan is doing a wonderful job in that position and retired from her previous full-time accounting practice to take on that role. Susan truly walks the walk. I hope you will vote to enable her to continue to serve as SD 16 SREC representative in the future.  We need her leadership.
